Are my sat scores average?

so i got my sat scores, and i got a 440 in critical reading, 570 in math, and a 500 in writing with a 9 on my essay...is that decent or completely aweful? im retaking them in a week, and have been preparing, but the english section is just so hard! but are these completely dreadful or okayish....like whats averave?
