I hate the gym, how can I make it less awful?

My iPod is the only thing that can keep me in a gym for more than 15 minutes. It's a distraction...it gets your mind off of the boring repetitive tasks that your'e doing. So instead of staring at a wall or a TV screen while on the treadmill, you can be off in daydream land courtesy of your music.
