Missouri State University?

My brother is a recent graduate of Missouri State University. He said he never heard of anyone ever having a problem with threats or bullying during his 5 years there. He also said that students from other countries were treated as if they were no different from American students. I went down to visit him several times and I always experienced friendly people and did not detect any type of resentment towards anyone on campus. Springfield is also a very friendly town. It is large and seems to have a rather diverse population. If I were you I would not worry about it. The school is very large there are about 18000 undergraduate students and around 1500 graduate students so you will not have a problem finding friends. My brother also said that it was the friendliest school he could ever have imagined going to. I also know many people who went to school there and they only have good things to say about the university. Also please don't lump all Americans together and say that we are racist against people from other countries in fact the majority of Americans are willing and happy to accept anyone who comes to this country legally with good intentions. As far as Missouri States ranking goes I believe they rank # 2 in Missouri and I know it will give you a good education for your money. I hope this helps you get over some of your fears about both Americans and about Missouri State, because it is a good school and it would be sad if you decided not to go there just because of a few bad and unprovable rumors. Good luck with school!
